When every AI-generated resume looks perfect,
VerifiedBench proves who the real engineers are.
Anyone can prompt ChatGPT to create a flawless CV. Hiring teams waste 40+ hours every month screening noise. VerifiedBench replaces resume guesswork with auditable, 3-minute technical proof—helping recruiters fast-track genuine engineers ready to join within 30 days.
Distributed Systems Benchmark
Senior / Staff Level Assessment
“Explained partition tolerance trade-offs between Paxos vs Raft under high network latency.”
Resume screening is broken for everyone.
Candidates spend weeks tailoring buzzwords and repeating identical coding interviews. Recruiters sift through hundreds of unverified claims. VerifiedBench introduces proof-of-work to software hiring.
Why it fails engineers & companies
- AI resume flood & keyword traps: Anyone can generate a flawless CV with ChatGPT, drowning recruiters in noise while genuine engineers get buried.
- 40+ hours wasted per hire: Hiring managers spend endless hours screening candidates who cannot explain system fundamentals.
- Duplicate LeetCode loops: Candidates are forced to solve arbitrary textbook riddles again and again for every single company.
- Zero verifiable context: A bullet point on a PDF cannot prove how someone reasons, debugs, or communicates under pressure.
Verifiable evidence beats paper claims
- Realistic role simulations: 3-stage assessments designed around real-world software engineering, architecture, and code defense.
- 3-minute recruiter inspection: Recruiters review authentic audio/video snippets and scored rubrics before scheduling an interview.
- One reusable benchmark link: Complete the assessment once, attach the verified proof to resumes, LinkedIn, or job applications.
- Candidate sovereignty: Practice privately. Weak attempts stay completely private; you only share the work you are proud of.
From opportunity to verified evidence.
A transparent, candidate-first journey from real software requirements to recruiter-ready evidence.
Select Role Profile
Choose your engineering specialty (Frontend Architect, Distributed Backend, DevOps, ML). Benchmark criteria are grounded in real industry job requirements.
Take AI Assessment
Experience a structured 3-stage evaluation: live problem solving, system architecture trade-offs, and verbal technical defense.
Private Rubric Feedback
Receive deep diagnostic feedback highlighting strengths and improvement areas. Keep attempts private until you are completely satisfied.
Publish Verified Proof
Generate an unlisted shareable evidence link. Attach it to applications so recruiters can fast-track you directly to hiring managers.
Built for engineers. Valued by hiring leaders.
Free Forever · Available Within 30 Days
Candidates must be ready to join within 30 days. You will never be asked to pay. Take benchmarks, inspect rubrics, and share evidence at zero cost.
Rank > 70 Recruiter Discovery
When you score a rank greater than 70, VerifiedBench shares your profile with vetted platform recruiters seeking your discipline.
Unlisted vs. Public Sovereignty
Choose Unlisted (recruiter login required to view shared proof) or Public (visible to any recruiter or visitor on the web without logging in).
Mutual Rating Accountability
Candidates rate recruiters. Any recruiter with >50% 1-star ratings (minimum 50 reviews) is permanently banned from the platform (and vice versa).
Candidate Guarantee
“We built VerifiedBench for active engineers ready to join within 30 days. You deserve fair evaluations, mutual accountability where bad recruiters get banned, and complete control over unlisted vs public visibility.”
Role benchmarks being engineered for launch.
Every discipline includes specialized problem sets, live code interaction, and architectural deep-dives.
Distributed Systems & Backend
Evaluates concurrency, caching strategies, database sharding, fault tolerance, and gRPC/REST APIs.
Frontend Architecture
Evaluates state management, DOM performance, SSR/hydration, accessibility, and component resilience.
Cloud, DevOps & Platform
Evaluates Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD security pipelines, Terraform IaC, and observability.
AI / Machine Learning Systems
Evaluates model serving pipelines, latency optimization, embeddings vector DBs, and LLM orchestration.
Everything you need to know.
Who should use VerifiedBench? (30-day availability requirement)
VerifiedBench is strictly for candidates who can join a company within 30 days (immediate joiners or candidates serving a short notice period). This ensures high-intent engagement so recruiters connect only with software engineers who are genuinely ready to start.
How does mutual rating work and what is the platform removal threshold?
Candidates can provide a rating for a recruiter and vice versa after each interaction. To protect community integrity, any recruiter or candidate who receives more than 50% 1-star ratings and a minimum of 50 1-star ratings will be permanently banned from the platform.
How the threshold works: A ban is only triggered if BOTH conditions are met: you have received at least 50 one-star reviews, AND those 1-star reviews represent more than 50% of your total ratings. For example, if a candidate or recruiter has 10 one-star reviews, they are completely safe. If someone receives 50 one-star reviews out of 120 total ratings (41.6%), they also remain in good standing because one-stars are below 50%.
When can a recruiter see my details? (Rank > 70 score requirement)
A recruiter can only unlock and view a candidate’s full details, contact info, and assessment evidence if the candidate scores a rank greater than 70 on the benchmark. Any candidate who joins VerifiedBench permits the platform to share their qualifying profile (rank > 70) with vetted platform recruiters seeking their discipline.
What is the difference between Unlisted and Public profiles?
A candidate can make their completed profile either Unlisted or Public. In both cases, verified recruiters on our platform can discover and view their profile (if rank > 70). The difference is:
• Unlisted Profile: When an unlisted profile link is shared, a recruiter must log in to VerifiedBench to view the full details and assessment recordings. It will not be visible on the public web.
• Public Profile: Any recruiter or visitor can view the candidate’s details and assessment proof without even logging in, and their profile with direct links will be showcased publicly on VerifiedBench.
Is VerifiedBench truly 100% free for software engineers?
Yes, completely. Candidates never pay to take assessments, receive private diagnostics, or share their proof-of-work links. Our revenue is generated entirely by recruiters and hiring teams who pay for high-volume discovery (recruiters receive 1 free candidate view per day).
What happens if I perform poorly on an assessment?
Nothing is ever made public without your explicit consent. Unsuccessful or practice attempts remain 100% private. You can inspect the diagnostic rubrics to improve, practice, and only publish when you achieve rank > 70 and are satisfied with your result.
